Symptoms of bladder infections may include:

* A burning sensation when urinating. This is the most common sign of a bladder infection.
* Frequent urge to urinate.
* Passing only small amounts of urine at a time despite the urge to urinate.
* Urine that is cloudy or bloody with a strong, foul odor.
* Pressure or cramping in the lower abdomen (usually middle) or back.
* A fever or chills may mean the infection has gone into the kidneys.
* Strong need to urinate often, even right after the bladder has been emptied.

What Causes a Bladder Infection:

The most common cause of bladder infections is infection by bacteria which have spread from the rectal area into the urethra. Approximately 80% of bladder infections are caused by Escherichia coli (E.coli). Other bacteria that may also cause bladder infection include Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, and Proteus species.

Home Remedies for Bladder Infection:

* For two weeks drink about half a cup lemon juice in the morning. This is good for clearing bladder infection.

* Cranberry juice has been used for more than a century as a home remedy to prevent and treat urinary tract infection.

* For treating this infection mix two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of water. Mix well to drink for quick recovery.

* Drink four ounces of wolfberry juice (Ningxia Red) followed by four ounces of water.

* Eat fruits and vegetables which contain sulfur like asparagus, spinach, cashews/almonds, Rhubarb and for acid eat cranberries, lemons, and blueberries.

* Add a drop of the blend Thieves to a glass of water and drink several times a day.

* You can also consume a teaspoon of pure garlic juice which is very efficient in killing the bacteria responsible for bladder infection.

* Mix one teaspoon olive oil and one teaspoon garlic juice in a glass of warm water. Drink thrice a day, before meals.

* Antiseptic herbs such as Fleabane, Pipsissewa, Smartweed, Elecampane, Wild alum root, Golden seal, Myrrh and Echinea root can be added to diuretic.

* For bladder pain and painful urination apply Comfrey leaf poultice over the bladder. You can have Pepsissewa tea, Hydrangea root or leaf tea, Cornsilk tea, or Buchu leaf tea. Avoid boiling the tea.

This infection is cause by a fungus called tinea pedis it lives off the dead skin cells, and thrives in moist, warm places, such as gyms, locker rooms, showers and swimming pools. Many individuals with athlete's foot have no symptoms at all and do not even know they have an infection. Many may think they simply have dry skin on the soles of their feet. Common symptoms of athlete's foot typically include various degrees of itching and burning. The skin may frequently peel, and in particularly severe cases, there may be some cracking, pain, and bleeding as well. Rarely, athlete's foot can blister.

Home Remedies for Athletes Foot:

* Dilute a cup of apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of water. Use this diluted solution to wash the affected skin. Apple cider vinegar is acidic in nature and can easily help kill off the fungal strains that cause the infection.

* Drink pau d'arco tea and soak your feet in a more concentrated form about 10 tea bags.

* Disolve 6 aspirins in 1/2 a cup of rubbing alcohol, shake well and apply on clean, dry feet. Repeat three times a day for three days or until athlete's foot is gone.

* Dry between your toes after swimming or bathing.

* Wear cotton socks to absorb sweat. Change your socks twice a day. (White socks do not prevent athlete's foot, as some people believe.)

* When indoors, wear socks without shoes.

* Fill a basin with one quart of water and add two spoons of betadine in the basin. Soak your feet in the warm water and betadine solution to get rid of any microbes in your feet. This also helps prevent bacterial infections from spreading in your feet and making you sick.

* Wear shower sandals in public pools and showers.

* Olive Leaf Extract comes from the olive tree which manufactures its own potent antibiotic substances to fend off disease causing bacteria, fungus and parasites. Olive Leaf Extract is an excellent antiviral agent. * Warm liquids, such as soup, broth, warm water and herbal tea are all excellent when it comes to soothing an inflamed and irritated throat. This helps the throat to recover faster.

* A cough syrup will be just fine and is one of the easy remedies for throat irritation.

* In case of throat irritation from alcohol or smoking, the best remedy is to give up or at least cut down on these habits.

* Boil 1½ glass of water with sliced ginger, 4 to 5 leaves of holy basil for 15 to 20 minutes and drink it hot.

* Boil milk with ½ tsp of turmeric powder and a pinch of salt. Drink this milk when warm every night before going to bed. This is a very effective remedy for throat irritation.

* Ginger tea is one of the best remedies for throat irritation.

* Boil whole lemon in water, and squeeze the juice in a bowl after it cools. Mix this juice with honey. Every 3 hour take 1 tsp of this mixture. This will help to alleviate your throat irritation.

* Lemon grass also helps to soothe irritated throat because of its medicinal properties. You can boil it in 1 pint of water and add 4 to 5 strands of the grass-like plant. If you want to make it sweet, you can add 1 tablespoon of honey and drink it hot.

* Put any vapor rub in hot water and inhale the steam.
